WOW! That's about all I can put into words about what we experienced God do in Florida. We were so excited to be at PAO (Pro Athletes Outreach) for our 4th year to worship God, listen to amazing speakers, and fellowship with other believers-and those seeking the Lord-who are in the NFL from across the country. It's so great that there is a ministry in place for athletes and their spouses. Even though we are blessed to be given a lot, there are many struggles being in the NFL so it's nice to get our focus right. We left feeling refreshed, challenged, and with new commitments to our marriage, as parents, and in our various relationships to attempt to be more Christlike.
Ryan joined us on the long trip down to Orlando. We were glad to have him with us, and were lucky to be able to enjoy the conference while he was in childcare for parts of the day. One afternoon we were able to witness a baptism. It's so exciting to cheer on players and their wives who decided to "take the plunge" and make their commitment to Christ in public. It got a little warm outside for Ryan so we enjoyed some of it from our balcony. I had to post this bird's eye view of all these athletes surrounding the resort pool--so cool!
We enjoyed seeing our friends too, Nicole and Tony, & Serah and Chris!
