This Weekend

Andy and I spent the weekend (for the most part) separately, but it was still wonderful! I went to the Love & Respect conference at our church on Friday and Saturday. The conference is based on the book "Love & Respect" by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. It is a wonderful book I would recommend to anyone-especially married couples. The book is based on Ephesians 5:33-everyone should check it out!
Andy didn't attend the conference because he had two friends from home come out to visit! So, he spent his time showing his friends around the Bay Area. They went to Napa Valley on Friday and visited Spring Mountain Vineyards. It's a really fun place to tour! They take you through the winery, and into tunnels where the wine barrels are, and then to a beautiful house to do a tasting!

Then on Saturday, the guys went in to San Francisco to do a little sight seeing and go to the Giants vs. Reds baseball game. They have a friend from high school who plays for the Reds, so it was really cool for them to get to see him while they were in town.

I think the week ahead will be very interesting! With the draft last weekend, and Andy's first mini-camp this weekend I think we're all very excited to see how the team is shaping up for next season! We'll just have to wait and see.....

Hello all! Andy and I decided to create a blog to keep in touch with all of you! We thought since we split time between SC and CA it would be a good way to keep you all updated on what is going on in our lives!
Right now we are enjoying the off season in California. Andy spends most of his time working out, playing golf, and working on plans for our new house (oh yeah-we are building a house in Greenville, SC). I have enjoyed finding new places around San Jose including a church, new restaurants, and places to shop--of course!

We also love to spend time with our precious dog, Layla. She is over 13 months old- that's about 8 in dog years- and growing fast! She makes us laugh a little everyday!

We recently celebrated Easter and had some family come out and visit (my Mom and Jimmy). I thought I'd add a few pictures!

We hope you enjoy our blog--we'll try to keep it updated weekly!

Easter Sunday was wonderful this year! We are attending a new church, Willow Glen Baptist Church in San Jose. It is so wonderful to celebrate our Risen Lord!

The Bajema's joined us for church on Easter!

When my Mom and Jimmy came to visit we went to Crustacean's in San Francisco. It is awesome! The best crab we've ever had! I definitely recommend it to anyone who visits!
